Taleese moved to Asheville in 2009 and after a lifetime of interest in fashion and art she realized her passion for hair. Taleese has been trained under Wella professionals, at the Tigi Academy in New York as well as The Ted Gibson Academy and was a salon ambassador for Davines for two years, Taleese strives to give each client the tools and knowledge to recreate their look at home. She believes that your experience in her chair should be as relaxing as it is fun and informing.
Taleese keeps up with the fashion blogs and soaks up the styles of models on the runways as well as fashion on the streets. As an intense “people watcher,” she has a deep appreciation for diversity and avoids being pigeonholed as a stylist, She’s not about creating one look but rather enjoys working with all types of hair and styles. Her desire is to come up with something that will suit every individual.
When she’s not playing with your hair, you can almost always find Taleese at her home in Weaverville. She embraces being a homebody and loves baking, listening to records, watching campy movies, and mostly goofing off with her husband and pets.
